Mission Connections

Boyd Avenue Baptist Church is an autonomous, independent church that is self-governed and self-sustaining. However, we recognize the value of linking with other churches and ministries for greater effectiveness and accountability in ministry.

Scope of Missions Support:

International Mission Board
Ministries of Southern Baptist missionaries on foreign fields
These are funded by our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering in December each year.

North American Mission Board
Ministries of Southern Baptist missionaries in the United States
Our Annie Armstrong Easter Offering funds these each year.

Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention
Approximately 90 SB churches and missions evangelizing Wyoming
through local congregational funding
The Cooperative Program offerings (14% of our monthly receipts) fund our conventionís office on Casper Mountain Rd & its ministries.

Old Faithful Southern Baptist Association's 15 Churches
Wyoming is divided into 4 areas with 2 associations in each. Old Faithful and Powder River Associations join together to evangelize the NE Area of Wyoming. Fred Creason is our Director of Missions. BABC contributes to it with 4% of its monthly receipts.

Pregnancy Center of Casper
Helps young women make Christ-centered decisions regarding their unborn child/provides aid to new mothers

Joshuaís Storehouse
A food bank which helps those of lower income in Casper

Interfaith
Assist individuals in Casper with rent, bills, housing, etc. as needed
And a variety of local ministries on short term basis such as Youth for Christ, Beth Moore conferences, and Habitat for Humanities

Student Internship Program
Boyd Avenue Baptist Church is involved in a student internship program that helps young adults called to ministry study and work in their called area under the guidance and mentoring of our pastors or other qualified leaders.
