COURAGEOUS the Movie is Showing

Courageous

In our culture, the family is under attack from every direction. Our families are crying out for the church to offer relief from the pressures that constantly press in upon them. Any answers that the church has to offer will require discipline and courage on the part of husbands, wives, parents, and children.

With this great need in mind, our church has obtained a license to show the recently released movie "Courageous". We will have several viewings of this movie.

Our next showings are:

Saturday night, January 28 (6:30 p.m.)
Friday night, February 3 (6:30 p.m.).

In conjunction with this tremendous opportunity, there will be an eight-week study based on this movie beginning on February 22, 2012.

Begin to plan to bring your friends and family to be both challenged and inspired by one or more of these free viewings.

Valentines Banquet

Our Valentines banquet will be Feruary 8th at the Petroleum Club. Tickets ($18 ea) are on sale now. Ask a deacon if you have more questions or to buy tickets.

Wednesday Night Ministry

Every Wednesday evening, we have a series of activities here at Boyd Avenue. It all begins with a meal at 5:30. In different places around the building, there are children's groups, a youth worship service, and adult studies and prayer time. Then our adult choir practices at 7:45. This is a special night of discipleship designed to help us grow spiritually. If you do not regularly attend our Wednesday evening activities, you may want to come and check them out. They will be a blessing to you.

Thought-provoking modern day parables will help us dig into Scripture and grow our faith --- 6:30 p.m.
