New Beginnings - Pastor Ed

A new year is often about new beginnings. We often look to a new year as a fresh start where anything is possible. We set goals (sometimes called resolutions) and are     excited for what the future holds. For me, personally, this new year is about a new beginning. My ministry shifts from student ministry to leading our congregation as the senior pastor. I am confident that exciting days are ahead!

Boyd Avenue Baptist Church is a great church. It has been for a long time. With a vision of the future, our church has a desire to continue impacting our community and our world. The new year brings new         challenges and new opportunities. Together we will face the challenges and embrace the opportunities. We will set goals as we focus on His ministry. We will serve together and share the light of Jesus. Unwritten days are ahead and I am excited to see what God will do. We will seek Him and serve Him.

My life cannot be about me. Your life   cannot be about you. It must always be about the One who created us. I often pray that I can have His heart, see through His eyes, and love a world with His love. I want that to be true every day with my family, in my ministry at Boyd Avenue, and in our   partnerships around the world. I have been called into a relationship with God. That relationship is shown in my love for others.

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to be involved in Your ministry. Thank you, for allowing us to be involved in Your ministry.
